Our Chalet a-frame at Lost River Valley
Campground and some points of interest.
![]()

We were very pleased with our water front electric site on
Walker Brook.
This view is typical of the wooded campground.

Another view of our site; with the brook and forest right behind the van.

A view of our site from across Walker Brook. There are no sites across the brook: just forest.

Looking up Walker Brook from the side opposite our campsite.

The nearby Cider Mill Cafe at Windy Ridge Apple Orchard is
well worth the trip.
We had hot apple crisp with their own made ice cream and brought a dozen cider
donuts
back to camp. Ask for directions at the campground office.

A quiet paddle on nearby Elbow Pond topped off the day.
As I mentioned on the campground description page; Lost River
Valley Campground is the closest thing to
the privacy and tranquility of a state campground we've found in a private
campground.
This said; as with any campground, not all sites are created equal. Be
sure to let the owners know
your preferences (privacy, proximity to bathhouse, etc.) when reserving a site.
