Red ScapeTo the right is an example of a wet pressed pulp painting which gives a more blended appearance than the collaged pieces. These are single sheets of paper made by blending different colors of wet pulp then pressing to a board to dry. These pieces could be mounted to a raised panel and lacquered or matted and framed behind glass depending on the desired result. Mounting and lacquering tends to intensify colors whereas framing behind glass leaves the colors more muted as seen here. approx. 4x6" sheet size |
