Pillsbury State Park campground

Created: May  2004

Our Chalet a-frame at Pillsbury Reservation and some other sites there.

to our site

The road in to our site.  The only drive to site on Butterfield Marsh (there is also one canoe to site across the marsh).

our site

Our site on Butterfield Marsh before the lily pads, hyacinth, and pickerel weeds have come up.

our set up

One leveling block did the trick!  This site is very secluded.  No hook ups.

view out our window

The view out our windows.

view one

View from our site in the morning. Looking toward the narrows that take you into May Pond.

view two

Another view from our site.  Yes; it stormed heavily overnight, but was rain free during the day.

another site

Another drive to waterfront site... but it's on May Pond.

For pictures of our second Chalet outing at Pillsbury State Park click here.

As I mentioned; there's only one drive to site on Butterfield Marsh. There are drive to sites on May Pond and Mill Pond.
There are also many walk to and hike to sites on and off the water. This is a very popular place for tenters.
There is a day use picnic area on Mill Pond and day use parking areas for the numerous hiking trails.
