Studio visits by appointment or during special scheduled open studio events.
Visiting an artist's studio is a unique opportunity to step into the world of the artist,
see where and how he does his work, and touch the tools and materials he uses.

above - where the artist does most of his painting
Shown above is my primary painting station.
Because the gyotaku printmaking is a very wet process that is done at another station.
The black flat file holds full size sheets of mat board and large sheets of paper.
The smaller flat file in the lower left holds my smaller sheets of paper and some finished paintings.
Studio visits by appointment.

This is the wall opposite the doorway. The first work folks get to see when they enter.
Not all pieces show in these pictures are still available. Feel free to email inquiries re: availability.
I will participate in the Hillsboro Area Artisans open studio tour on September 16 & 17, 2006.
Be sure to email your interest in being notified of future open studio events.
My studio is also open by appointment... scheduled when mutually convenient.
However; the best time to visit is during an advertised event.

This shows most of the studio area looking to the right of the doorway.
You should recognize my painting station and flat files to the left. There is a stand up work station to
the right where I do my mat cutting and framing. A paper making materials display table is seen at the far end.

This shows most of the rest of the studio. The doorway is seen to the left and the smaller wooden flat file
on the right. My painting station is to the lower right. My Hollander beater is shown on the end of the
stand up work bench at the left. I use it outdoors; but placed it there for an open studio event.
